values of peace among student community

The Global Indian Mahatma Gandhi Centre for Universal Values (MGCUV) was launched by GIIS in 2006 with the intention of introducing the values of peace in our student community and instilling strong virtues in them. Inaugurated by India’s then Union Minister of Human Resources Development, Mr Arjun Singh, the Gandhi centre as it is called, broadly covers areas like Community Integration, Peace Initiatives and Green Curriculum - meant to teach students the importance of service, peaceful existence and being caring global citizens.

Non-violence is not just the absence of violence, but the encouragement of a culture of love, respect, and compassion.
